Fall Break Workshops for Faculty and Staff

Educational Technology will be hosting 3 workshops for faculty to inspire your thinking and boost you through the semester. These will be informal sessions with lots of opportunities for faculty to ask questions and have hands-on engagement with the technologies. No prior experience is necessary. Light refreshments will be served.

Making Course Materials Accessible

Wednesday, October 10 from 9:30 -10:30a.m. in McCoy Lab

Bring some of your print or course materials and learn how to make them accessible. We will demo features you may not have used and provide time and support for you to implement these features.

Easy to Use Virtual Reality Tools

Wednesday, October 10 from 11a.m. – noon in McCoy Lab

Learn about Oculus Go VR headsets, 360 degree cameras, and easy-to-use virtual reality tools and content that you can use in your classroom.

Getting Started with 3D Printing

Wednesday, October 10 from 1:30 – 3p.m. in Longbrake Commons

We’ll discuss applications for 3D printing in the liberal arts and share resources Educational Technology can provide to you and your students. We’ll also explore design software and demo how to print your own object with our 3D printers.
