Using as an External Monitor
On iOS13, newer iPads and Macbooks can use a feature called SideCar. SideCar turns your iPad Pro into a secondary monitor for your Macbook, making computer programs usable on your iPad screen. Check SideCar system requirements to make sure your equipment is up to date.
You can use a Bluetooth mouse with your iPad instead of using a stylus or touchscreen. Some mice allow you to alternate between bluetooth connections between your laptop and iPad. This is found especially useful when work is done between an iPad and laptop
